So I sat here staring at the wall for a good half hour. Debating to mount the system on that spot. I would hold the system up on the wall and think and think, get tired of holding the heavy thing and stare some more.
I finally mounted it and ten minutes later it fell. Luckily it didn’t fall far and the monitor saved it from falling forward.
Apparently where I used the toggle bolts was on a seam where the two sheet of drywall met. Was a million to one chance.
Instead of mounting it for now I just have it sitting on the shelf. Next year I plan to gut the mini shop and completely redo it. Get rid of the builder wire shelves and put in some nice stuff.
Anyway, here is a picture of the system running.
The system runs stable and I can play a few games just fine. Had some issues with the SSDs and had to reinstall OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. When I was installing DOOM Enteral I was getting an error saying my /home partition was about full. Come to find out somehow the UEFI partition and the /Home partitions got swapped. So it was reporting my /Home partition was 500MB and the UEFI partition was 500GB. After fixing that I can run DOOM at high res just fine.
