It’s taken days for each part of the Callisto 2 case to print. Almost had a failure around 2:00am this morning. Just got into bed and heard a snap coming from the mini shop. I took a look and a couple of tree supports toppled over. I tried to use electrical tape to put them back in place and it didn’t work. I said to myself “screw it, I’m tired and if it fails it fails”. There is a 50-50 chance it would make it. Beast has had great success with overhangs. Sure enough it was fine. It’s a bit thin on a corner but it’s perfectly fine.
I’m half way through part 5 out of 7. When everything is finished I can put it together, sand it and put everything inside.
Since I had the bottom portion printed I placed them together to get an idea how big the case is and it’s much bigger then I thought it would be.
It’s almost as wide as a full size keyboard.
I have plenty of room to fit the Keyboard, LCD, Pi and a Meanwell RD-35A power supply.
