Survived Milton

This is our first year in Saint Augustine and it has been interesting. Use to live in Baker county and haven’t lived close to the ocean in 30 years.

Our neighborhood is literately right outside of evacuation zone A. We stayed and we were fine. Didn’t loose power as far as I know and just got rain and wind. Was a little concern since phase three for the neighborhood is in early construction and they didn’t pick up the extra lumber, port-a-johns and dumpsters.

My buddy from work has been working in the Lakeland / Tampa area and he was there when Milton hit. His apartment lost power so he went to the office and had power for a while. The office almost got flooded. If he didn’t go I would imagine it would of been completely flooded.

I feel bad for the people that lost their homes from the Tornadoes and high winds from Milton. My prayers and thoughts go out to them.
