So I made the final layout of the board.

I then went to the Garage and made the sides and cut a couple of holes.

It’s not a bloody mess, i swear…. Really it’s bondo spot putty. I counter sunken the screws and covered them up and a few deep scratches got treated too.

I found a full can of black gloss spray paint so it’s currently drying at the moment. I’ll take a picture later for in case it turns out like crap. I’m not much of a wood worker but my projects come out alright.

I decided to leave out the bigger drives. Down the road I might add two more SSDs, those I can easily stack. To fit the computer on the wall I had to make things a lot smaller and and since the PCI-E extension cable is only so long it kinda makes the layout a little awkward. I’m waiting for the 3D Printer to finish a print so I can print out the GPU holder. Since I know the layout now I can plan for the LEDs.

For the power switch I’m just gonna use a chunky monetary toggle switch.

To mount it to the wall I am thinking to do a french cleat. It’s simple and easy, just have to get over being scared of the table saw. When I was cutting the plywood the board kickbacked and the smaller piece went flying across the garage. I wasn’t standing behind it but if I was I would of been in trouble.
